About Mikesh B. Mistry
Mikesh joined Duncan, Linton LLP as an associate following his call to the bar in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Mikesh was a real estate law clerk and later articled for two prominent criminal lawyers in the Waterloo Region. Mikesh currently focuses his practice on real estate law and municipal law.
Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Mikesh attended the University of Waterloo where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Legal studies in 2014. Mikesh attended law school in England, where he received his LL.B. from the University of Leeds.
While at the University of Leeds, Mikesh was a member of the Aspiring Solicitors committee where he promoted the need to increase diversity in the legal profession. Mikesh also participated in the Research Guide Committee, which would guide 1st year law students on how to effectively use online research tools. In addition, Mikesh actively participated in negotiation competitions, and was a member of both the Law Society and Boxing Society.
Outside of work, Mikesh enjoys mixing and scratching music, watching sports, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
