NOLAN WILSON, Waterloo Family Law Lawyer

Nolan’s law practice is focused on family law, drawing on his experience in negotiation, trial litigation, and appellate advocacy. He has successfully represented clients at the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, various tribunals, and in Alternative Dispute Resolution processes.

Nolan grew up in Ayr, obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2015 at the University of Waterloo, and attended Osgoode Hall Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2018. Nolan was an accomplished moot court competitor and continues to give back to the Osgoode mooting program, serving as coach of its Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. Following his call to the bar in 2019, Nolan practiced as a lawyer at a prominent Brantford & Brant County law firm before joining Duncan, Linton LLP in 2024.

Nolan’s approach to legal representation is grounded in a careful appreciation for the nuances of each client’s circumstances. In litigation matters, his practice blends application of the law with effective courtroom advocacy.

Outside of work, Nolan enjoys baseball, hockey, and spending time outdoors. He serves as a board member of the Brant Skills Centre charity offering literacy and essential skills training for adults and older youth.
