ZACHARY D. D’AMICO, Kitchener-Waterloo Commercial Litigation and Wills & Estates Lawyer

Zachary D’Amico is an associate lawyer whose practice focuses on estate litigation, estate administration, estate planning, commercial litigation, and real estate law. He advises individuals, families, fiduciaries, and businesses on a broad range of legal matters, with a particular emphasis on estates and trusts.

Zachary was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024 and joined Duncan, Linton LLP as an associate in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced Wills and Estates and Family Law with a law firm in Waterloo, Ontario.

Zachary earned his Honours degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Guelph. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University.

Zachary assists clients in navigating complex estate matters through comprehensive estate planning, including the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney for Property, and Powers of Attorney for Personal Care. He works closely with clients to develop practical estate plans that protect their interests and ensure their wishes are carried out.

His estate litigation practice includes representing beneficiaries, executors, trustees, attorneys for property and personal care, and other interested parties in contested estate matters. Zachary has experience in disputes involving estate administration, passing of accounts applications, executor and trustee conduct, beneficiary rights, powers of attorney, capacity concerns, will challenges, and other fiduciary disputes. He regularly assists clients in both advancing and defending claims relating to the management and distribution of estates.

In addition to his estates practice, Zachary represents clients in a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. He provides strategic advice to individuals and businesses involved in contractual disputes, shareholder and business conflicts, debt recovery matters, and other civil claims.

Outside the office, Zachary enjoys watching and playing sports, particularly football, hockey, baseball, and golf.
